MIAMI, Florida (Tuesday, November 27th) - “CHINA POP” World Tour Exhibition is an exhibition by the renowned Chinese artist Simon Ma that will arrive at Istituto Marangoni Miami during Art Basel, from December 5th until December 20th, 2019.

Simon Ma is Art Brand Ambassador of Istituto Marangoni Firenze Fashion and Art School and is very much involved with Italy and Italian brands. He is an Ambassador of the Chinese and Italian Culture and Arts and an Ambassador for International Peace issued by UNESCO.

Simon’s art is filled with dynamic Chinese brush strokes and new pop icons. He was commissioned to design the first Chinese inspired symbols on the interior of the Ferrari. He conveys the “spirit of the horse” vividly which is displayed in his new series.

Istituto Marangoni Miami
Istituto Marangoni was founded in 1935 in Milan, Italy and has more than 80 years of history and success in training top professionals in fashion and design. The School opened its first U.S. campus in Miami - the city with growing reputation as a design and art capital of the world.

Miami was the city chosen due to its unexplored opportunities and accessibility to tap into undiscovered talents from all over Latin America which makes the city a real blueprint for the future of fashion.

Each Marangoni institute has its own DNA and the Miami School is built around sustainable fashion. The school incorporates the concept of sustainable fashion into their curriculum by being extremely careful with material waste, avoiding the use of polyester and plastic, supporting eco-friendly materials, and challenging their students with upcycled projects.
