  • Fashion Styling provides creative skills to use in aspects like trend forecasting, visual communication, and style and brand analysis which can also be used for emerging technologies in the industry.
  • Fashion Design teaches students the forms of pattern cutting, garment technology, and design to use in mens and womenswear or accessory design all while establishing an individual style.

Entry Requirements For The BFA In Fashion

To start your educational journey with a fashion bachelor degree at Istituto Marangoni Miami, apply by the semester deadline of choice. The application to our bachelors program includes a non-refundable fee of $100. Once the initial application is submitted, an IMM application coach will contact you to help collect all of the necessary documents to compile a complete admission folder. The required information is as follows:

  • Resume/CV
  • Personal statement
  • U.S. Identification
  • Declaration of finances
  • Proof of high school completion, GED, or secondary education
  • A fully completed and signed enrollment agreement

An admission interview will be scheduled once all documents are reviewed and a final decision will be determined. Acceptance into Istituto Marangoni Miami in the fashion undergraduate courses grants participants with an engaging learning setting, current fashion technologies in productive work and class spaces, a network of accomplished alumni and faculty, plus a multitude of opportunities for professional development in the fashion industry. What Will I Learn In The Fashion Bachelor’s Program At Istituto Marangoni Miami?

The fashion undergraduate courses at IMM are arranged into three concentrations depending on the interests of the students and provide the opportunity to nurture those passions into a career in fashion. Regardless of the branch of fashion chosen, the instructors of Marangoni are experienced in teaching the different lessons of their corresponding subjects and pride themselves in providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the concepts introduced in the classroom. The lessons taught in the classroom for the fashion undergraduate programs are designed to be transferred to real-world situations of the industry so that participants are able to gain work experience. The three branches of the bachelor’s fashion program are the following:

  • Fashion Business: The fashion business courses at Marangoni Miami teach participants the importance of the various business types and the methods they may run based on different practices, managements, or marketing strategies. The goal is to understand the role of ‘business’ within the wider global image of the fashion industry.
  • Fashion Design: The undergraduate fashion design courses provide an introduction and understanding of the skills needed for garment construction such as pattern cutting, garment design and technology to develop and execute womenswear, menswear, or accessories. All of this is achieved while supporting a student’s individual style as a fashion
  • Fashion Styling: The bachelor’s in fashion styling courses focus on the interpretation and analysis of style, visual communication, and trend forecasting in order to effectively present the desired identity and image of a brand or product.
