Maintaining Eligibility

To maintain your scholarship each semester, scholarship recipients will need to meet the following requirements:

  1. Maintain a minimum of 12 or 15 semester credit schedule for the first and each semester thereafter. Every student must take a minimum of 36 credits per academic year beginning from their first semester. Academic year refers to 3 semesters a year from start. Financial aid for future semesters may be impacted for students who reduce the total number of credits below 12 or 15 semester credits. Students who reduce their course load below their scholarship requirements will have the next semester charges adjusted to reflect the removal of the scholarship amount.
  2. Maintain continuous enrollment from the first day of the scholarship until graduation; students who withdraw from school, for any reason, will need to reapply to financial aid upon re-entry.
  3. Maintain a 90% attendance for each course.
  4. Maintain a 2.5 Cumulative grade point average at the end of each semester.
  5. Maintain satisfactory academic progress, as published in the official catalog.
  6. Submit timely payments of any tuition and fees that remain after the scholarships is applied to your student balance. Students who make a late payment or no payment may lose financial aid eligibility and will be required to pay full tuition and fees to continue enrollment.
  7. Tuition scholarships are not redeemable for cash. Any credit balance created each semester, after all charges and aid is applied to the student’s account, will roll to a subsequent semester so as not to create stipends or refunds.
  8. This scholarship may not be combined with any other institutional awards.
