Istituto Marangoni Miami Opens Latest Exhibition, FUTURE FASHION CONCEPTS, in Partnership with Felder Felder

The Miami School of Fashion will showcase the latest innovations in textile development: mushroom garments, recycled threads, seaweed fabrics, and more.

Miami, FL – Feb 15th, 2024: Istituto Marangoni Miami announces the opening of its latest exhibition, FUTURE FASHION CONCEPTS, on Friday, March 1st, 2024, in partnership with Felder Felder. “I am committed to supporting innovation and forward thinkers changing the way we do things in Miami, and what better partner to do it with than one of our own faculty members, Annette Felder,” says Hakan Baykam, Founder, CEO & President of Istituto Marangoni Miami.

FUTURE FASHION CONCEPTS is an exhibition dedicated to exploring the potential of sustainable textiles for the future. Curated by Annette Felder, adjunct faculty professor of Green Marketing in the Fashion Business Program at Istituto Marangoni Miami, and Daniela Felder, Co-Founder of Felder Felder, the exhibition aims to shed light on the ongoing efforts to advance sustainable fashion and celebrate the innovators driving change.

The 2024 edition of Future Fashion Concepts will showcase materials and designs crafted from mycelium, seaweed, recycled textile waste, and more, highlighting the diverse array of sustainable developments.

Annette Felder and Daniela Felder are renowned for integrating cutting-edge plant-based materials into their designs, blending haute couture with responsible practices. Beyond their iconic brand, they actively engage in community outreach by organizing educational events that spotlight solution-driven innovations within the broader context of responsible production and consumption, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 12 (SDG 12). Their initiatives have spanned from London to Berlin and now Miami.
