While in fashion, a creative director helps develop the concept of a clothing line or brand and isn’t directly involved in the process of design. Creative directors often work closely with brand directors to ensure that the creative material remains in line with the brand’s image and objective.

Brand Director

A brand director oversees the brand strategy such as brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity. 2. Industry Experience: Directors tend to have a track record within their careers displaying their success and experience in the industry whether in design, marketing, or editorial. It’s important to record prior businesses and employers that you’ve worked for or collaborated with in the past as well as maintain those connections.
