Press Release | Istituto Marangoni Miami Partners with Top Fashion Houses: Prada, Thom Browne & Design District
Istituto Marangoni Miami, the School of Fashion, has once again partnered with renowned Fashion Houses such as Prada, Tom Brown, Cecconello Shoes, and Miami Design District. This year, they are bringing you the third edition of ‘EXPRESSIONS’, a unique two-day event held every August. ‘EXPRESSIONS’ is not just another fashion event; it’s a platform for engaging talks and panels strategically located in the heart of the Design District.
Istituto Marangoni Miami, one of the top 10 Fashion Schools globally, is not just about fashion. It’s about community, talent, and opportunity. The School is proud to announce that it is investing over 1 million in Scholarship Funds, a testament to its commitment to supporting the community of Miami and nurturing new talents.
With over 80 years of fashion education excellence, Istituto Marangoni was founded in Milan in 1935 and opened its first U.S. campus in Miami due to its unexplored opportunities and accessibility to tap into undiscovered talents. This makes the city a real blueprint for the future of fashion. The academic curricula in Miami follow teaching methods that Istituto Marangoni has been strengthening since its founding.
At Istituto Marangoni, we don’t just teach, we invest in the future of the Miami Fashion industry. Our programs are designed to help talents develop, explore, and push their skills further. A shining example is our student Sebastian Grey, who transitioned from Istituto Marangoni to Miami Project Runway to New York Fashion Week, a testament to the School’s effectiveness in developing talent and its impact on the fashion industry.
Istituto Marangoni Miami receives hundreds of inquiries monthly to take classes and engage in fashion training. “We have a mission to make Miami one of the world’s fashion capitals. Everyone regards New York, Milan, and Paris as the largest fashion capitals. Still, we want to drive the initiative to make Miami one of the leaders as well,” said Stephen V. Iacullo, JD, Campus Director of Istituto Marangoni Miami. “Passionate industry leaders lead Our School with an immaculate staff working in the industry. We are honored to partner up with the various brands and companies to help build the success of the fashion influence in Miami.”
Mr. Iacullo also states, “Istituto Marangoni Miami not only works with top designers and grooms top students but has a community mission. One of the strongest missions is “fashion sustainability.” This mission will help save the environment by using recycled goods such as bedsheets from donations or other areas to save and be green. We have a mission to save the Earth through fashion, and the way to do it is by fashion sustainability.
The Istituto Marangoni fashion design program is internationally renowned and innovative. It leads to an Associate of Arts in Fashion Design or a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design. Its preliminary aim is to cultivate students who share a set of core values that include a commitment to fashion design and an approach to teaching and learning focused on community and political design contexts for diverse learners.
