Istituto Marangoni Joins Forces with Fashion Houses such as Prada, Tom Brown, Cecconello Shoes and Miami Design District

ISTITUTO MARANGONI MIAMI –  Istituto Marangoni Miami, the School of Fashion, has joined forces with Fashion Houses such as Prada, Tom Brown, Cecconello Shoes and Miami Design District, of which the School has a strong and ongoing relationship with. The two Institutions are partnering for the third consecutive year to host “EXPRESSIONS”, a 2-day event that happens every August, framed around several talks and panels in selected spots around the Design District.

The School, which is one of the top 10 Fashion Schools in the world praises their promotion of partnering up with community leaders, luxury brands and other companies to produce a higher-end Fashion exposure in Miami. The School is making efforts in supporting the community of Miami and the new talents by providing over 1 million in Scholarship Funds.

With over 80 years of fashion education excellence, Istituto Marangoni was founded in Milan in 1935 and opened its first U.S. campus in Miami due to its unexplored opportunities and accessibility to tap into undiscovered talents which makes the city a real blueprint for the future of fashion. The academic curricula in Miami follows teaching methods that Istituto Marangoni has been strengthening since it was founded.

Massimo Casagrande, Director of Education, says, “We are all about teaching and helping, but above all else investing in young talent in the Miami Fashion industry. The aim of our programs is to help the talents to develop and explore and push their skills further. An example being, our student Sebastian Grey who went from Istituto Marangoni to Miami Project Runway to New York Fashion week.”

Istituto Marangoni Miami receives hundreds of inquiries a month to take classes and to engage in fashion training.

“We have a mission to make Miami one of the fashion capitals of the world. Everyone regards New York, Milan and Paris as the largest fashion capitals, but we want to drive the initiative to make Miami one of the leaders as well,” said Stephen V. Iacullo, JD, Campus Director of Istituto Marangoni Miami. “Our School is led by passionate industry leaders who have an immaculate staff that has worked in the industry. We are honored to partner up with the various brands and companies to help build the success of the fashion influence in the city of Miami.”

Mr. Iacullo also states, “Istituto Marangoni Miami not only works with top designers, groom’s top students but has a community mission. One of the strongest missions is “fashion sustainability.” This mission will help save the environments by using recycled goods such as bedsheets from donations or other areas to save and be green. We have a mission to save the Earth through fashion and the way to do it is by fashion sustainability.

About the Istituto Marangoni Miami Education Program:
The fashion design program of  Istituto Marangoni is an internationally renowned, innovative program leading to an Associates in Arts in Fashion Design or a Bachelors of Arts in Fashion Design and preliminary aims to cultivate students who share a set of core values that includes aa commitment to fashion design with an approach to teaching and learning that is focused on community, and political contexts of design for diverse learners.
