CFDA’S STEVEN KOLB TO BE FIRST GUEST IN U.S. EDITION OF “IN CONVERSATION WITH” AT THE NEW ISTITUTO MARANGONI MIAMI CAMPUS
[MIAMI, FLORIDA, June 25th, 2018] – Istituto Marangoni Miami’s President, Hakan Baykam, announced today the launch of the U.S. edition of “In Conversation With” on July 23rd, 2018 with CFDA’s President and CEO, Steven Kolb. With the aim of turning Miami into an internationally recognized fashion hub, world-renowned Italian fashion and design school, Istituto Marangoni, will be holding it’s “In Conversation With” at their Miami Campus.
These talks will aim to showcase the experience and trajectory of heavy-hitters in the fashion and design world in order for students to learn firsthand from experts in these fields. The project is taking place in partnership with their newly appointed advisory board member, renowned fashion business expert, Eva Hughes who will also be moderating these series of talks.

With their support we are closer to reaching our goal of becoming the new fashion hub for Miami and the Americas” said Baykam. “This project will also help give our students an unprecedented opportunity for exchange, inspiration, and creativity, working towards a brilliant future in fashion.”
The recently opened Istituto Marangoni Miami offers a new base to emerging local and international fashion students who wish to express their creativity and learn key industry skills. With a highly qualified faculty, combining European professors and prominent local professionals, the school offers a two-year Associate of Arts Degree in Fashion Studies, a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling and Fashion Business, also offering a Master’s in Fashion & Luxury Brand Management, adding to a number of shorter courses and continuing education workshops and seminars throughout the academic year.
