Miryam A. Fragoso-Wiley

Biological science professor

Miryam A. Fragoso-Wiley is an Adjunct faculty at Istituto Marangoni and Miami Dade College where she teaches in the biological sciences.

Miryam obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then did her graduate work at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and obtained her doctorate in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology.

Miryam did research in the areas of pulmonology, ophthalmology, and human genetic diseases and her work resulted in the publication of several research articles. Miryam’s objective is to show how nature can inspire design and sustainability in the fashion industry.
