Salomé Gómez-Upegui

Fashion criticism and writing, research methods

Salomé is a bilingual Colombian-American writer based in Miami, FL whose work focuses on art, social justice, gender, and climate change, and her pieces have appeared in Vogue, W Magazine, The Guardian, Vox, Atmos, Hyperallergic and Artsy.

Salomé the author of the book of essays Feminista PorAccidente (Editorial Ariel, 2021). Besides teaching in both the graduate and under-graduate programs at Istitiuto Marangoni Miami, Salomé works for various mission-driven organizations on editorial assignments and social impact strategies. Her most recent work includes Soho House, Harvard Graduate School of Design, Scholastic Art, and Agua by Agua Bendita.
