Driven by a passion for visual storytelling, Sarah Watson-Baik, a California native, is a dynamic creative, educator, and influencer with a diverse skill set spanning art, design, fashion, Korean culture, wellness, and sustainability. She holds two associate degrees in Fine Art and Commercial Photography and started her career as a journalist during the 1990s, where she covered the Britpop era and the vibrant world of Japanese Harajuku street fashion. Sarah continued her education in London at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, earning a BA (Hons) in Arts & Design and a master’s in Photography & Urban Cultures from Goldsmiths College. Her journey includes immersion in underground club culture. With 11 years in Seoul, South Korea, she became a respected teacher, fashion stylist/creative director, television host, professor, and social media influencer, deeply connected to Korean culture and style. Now based in Miami, Sarah is a Professor of Fashion Styling at Istituto Marangoni Miami. As a Filipino American married to a Korean, she advocates passionately for the recognition of Korean and South East Asian fashion and culture, drawing from her multicultural upbringing and extensive global experiences to mentor and educate emerging creative talents.
